An Adventure that Changes Everything

Each weekend, we lead a trip that focuses on outdoors, arts or sciences. Our participants engage in activities such as hiking, aquatics, and wildlife observation. We visit local museums, host art in the parks, and discover how much math is in nature. Each activity is designed to align with learning objectives while keeping the experience engaging and fun.

Our Values

SAFETY

Our programs are a place where everyone feels safe to explore their interests and test what we know and don’t know.

SELF-CONFIDENCE

We give our participants the self-confidence to take on new projects and adventures in school and play.

LIVED EXPERIENCES

We cultivate an environment where we honor each other’s life experiences, so kids can see the value in themselves and others.

CONNECTION

We connect our participants to each other and the environment.

We are in our seventh year.

What does this mean for our program? Growth and sustainability.

One of our long-term goals is to be a citywide program, offering weekend services to our most vulnerable and hard to reach population in San Francisco. There are 9,000 people under the age of 18 who live in poverty. We aim to serve this population.

Our financial goals are to secure funding to sustain and grow our programming, which includes staffing, and purchasing our own transportation.
