We use public transportation for all of our adventures. To attend, each child will need to bring their own youth clipper card for every trip. For information on obataining a youth clipper card, please visit Youth Clipper Cards.

We are not a stationary program. Our mobile program is designed to be experienced in places such as art museums, science labs, theaters, and nature preserves. We meet at the Boys and Girls Club on Fulton for drop-off and pick up. To learn about the location of our upcoming adventures please visit our Events page.

In case of an illness that cannot be remedied by rest and water, the program leader will promptly notify the parent/guardian and make arrangements for the child to be picked up early. Our illness policy is outlined in the parental agreement.

Parents/guardians are given the direct cell number for the program leader and information on the day’s activities.

Weekend Adventures is a free program, thanks to our generous Donors and Sponsors.

We serve youth/children in San Francisco City and County who live in neighborhoods that have gone unchecked and as a result are filled with adversity such as drug sales and usage, violence and extreme filth.

Each cohort runs on every Saturday for six weeks between 10:00 am and 6:00 pm.

No, we are a day program and do not have any overnight trips.

Yes, we are insured.

Each volunteer, who works directly or indirectly with our youth, have gone through a thorough Federal, State and County background check.

Yes, all volunteers and staff, who work directly with our youth, have been trained in First Aid and CPR.

There is one adult for every eight participants.
